Sentrinsic is pleased to announce it has received a $100,000 Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Phase II grant, building upon previous investments by the GRA. This secondary round of funding will help Sentrinsic continue the commercialization process initiated with Phase I funding in 2005.

Unlike Phase I GRA investments, Phase II funding requires equal financial participation from the company. Sentrinsic raised the required matching funds from Angel investors with experience in sensor technology, intellectual property management, and entrepreneurship.

A model public-private partnership between Georgia universities, business and state government, the Georgia Research Alliance helps build Georgia's technology-rich economy through by converting research into products, services and jobs that drive the economy.

Sentrinsic will use funds from the award for product development, and marketing and sales efforts to help grow the company, as well as to reach new customers and distribution partners.
